Nothing staged. Neon and wet asphalt, reflections, and the geometry that only shows up when you look straight up.
Rallies, marches, and the quiet minutes between them. I stand where the story is and try not to get in its way.
The frames I make when there's nobody to photograph but the light.
I make pictures on foot — mostly after dark or in the hour before it. A mirrorless body, a few primes, and the patience to wait for a frame to arrange itself.
The portraits are collaborations. The street work is what I find on the way home. The documentary frames are a city showing up for itself.
